I would think that a 24" barrel and 1250psi would get you right around that 800 or so fps.Anyone confirm? You will need to goto 1250psi.maybe more.I have not done it yet.next month for me. Longer barrel adds fps.if you have a stock barrel, JimC sells longer 15" and 24" barrels.the longer the more fps. "I want to shoot at 800 to 900Feet Per Second" Ok Got it now. I all ready moved my soleniod up a little.
Is it safe to run your Blackbird's board at 18volts? Ive read that there are ways to also mod the valve and the weak spot on the BB is the expansion chamber. What I said was I want to shoot at 800 to 900Feet Per Second. I said that I'm all ready running the bulk adapter with HPA paintball tanks. You did anwser my question but, you didn't read my post right. You would still need a HPA kit like this. Many stay at 1250psi, others run at 1400psi. JDS makes special regulators for going even higher.but it then gets more complicated. You need to add more battery voltage to power the e battery threads If you just want 800-900psi.then just go with paintball C02 tanks.or Paintball HPA tanks.there stock pressure is 800-850 PSI, on what they call there high pressure systems. I'm sure these questions have been asked a hundred times.
Does anyone know how much psi the Blackbird can safely handle or what mods I can do so it can handle it. I want to buy a high output reg but, I don't know much about regulators. I'd like to get the fps up to 800-900fps. I've been checking out some threads on uping the psi output. I'm just going to stick with the 600rpm mod chip. I'm pretty sure where the 2 washers go and the barrel insert. I have a soldering iron but, I've never soldered before. I figured thats why the top half wasen't coming off. Someone here can confirm this for the Blackbird. They don't show the washers in the diagram, but I think they go between the barrel and the frame. Here is the link to the parts diagram for the Blackbird. Since you will have the gun all apart it should be easier to reinstall the barrel and parts, as you will have better access.
This will allow you to side the front unit forward once the soleniod wires have been desoldered. Just have to remove the fake suppressor first, then remove the barrel nut.
I'm not really sure how easy it is to do?įor reference, here is a link showing how to take apart a Drozd, should be the same for Blackbird. I forgot one other thing is that I would like to go to a higher psi output. I really hope someone can help me out with this one. Well now my Blackbird is sitting on a table in pecieses. Well the sun is starting to come up so I best be getting some sleep before work.
I want to get the 900 round full auto chip the M4 stock, the NcSTAR green laser and maybe the deluxe-ergonomic-foregrip. I have no clue how to put those peices back together and I'm not really sure where they go. That's when 3 parts came out 2 bushings and the part the barrel screws into. I was trying to get the top half to come off when I accedently hit the mag release button. Now I've herd that your not suppost to take out the mag when your taking your Blackbird apart.
Then there is a screw at the very front of the gun. I know you have to first remove the barrel completely. I just wanted to see if I could acctually take the gun apart. My problem came when I tried to take apart the gun. I ajust the selinoid a little bit more twards the front of the valve. I also upgraded to the N batteries for a little added juice. I currently have the Blackbird with the mock suppersor kit, bulk air hose so I'm running HPA paintball tanks. Hi guys, its been i think almost a year since ive posted on this forum.
